HOTUSA HOTELS GROUP SELECTS ADT
TO PROVIDE SECURITY ACROSS ITS NATIONAL CHAIN OF HOTELS
This new agreement underlines the experience and reliability of ADT as a provider of electronic security systems to the hotel industry.
ADT's flexibility and professionalism enables it to meet the security requirements of more than 150 hotels, which go up to a five star rating, that are affiliated to the HOTUSA HOTELS GROUP
Lisbon, 9 April 2007. ADT, Europe's leading provider of electronic fire and security solutions, has been chosen by the HOTUSA HOTELS GROUP as a recommended supplier to provide electronic security systems for its extensive hotel network in Portugal. The HOTUSA HOTELS GROUP is a leading hotel consortium in Europe with more than 150 hotels in Portugal which go up to a five star rating.
This latest endorsement will enable every hotel in the HOTUSA HOTELS GROUP network to have access to ADT's entire range of products and services, and these will bear the seal of quality and reliability that the HOTUSA HOTELS GROUP offers its affiliates. These security systems include anti-intrusion systems, closed circuit television (CCTV) systems, access control systems and fire detection systems.
Anti-intrusion systems
Anti-intrusion security systems are designed to protect installations of any type, size or design. If a break in occurs while the system is active, an alarm is triggered and a message is sent to ADT's Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).
CCTV systems
A CCTV and video surveillance system remains ‘on permanent watch’, helping to protect properties and people, while at the same time providing useful information to management.
Access control systems
An access control system is an effective way of recording the movement of individuals as well as managing the entry of authorised personnel to sensitive areas.
Fire detection systems
A range of fire detection products provide reliable protection for life and property; they are designed to minimise false alarms and ensure early detection.
"This new testimonial is further proof of our aim to offer our affiliates the best available services," says Emilio Rodríguez, Central Director of Purchases and Services of the HOTUSA HOTELS GROUP. "In this case, we're talking about ADT, Europe’s leading provider of electronic security systems, which is a multinational company forming part of Tyco Fire & Security. We are confident that the quality of its systems and consultancy services will offer a great opportunity to our affiliates."
Ignacio Cuenca, Marketing Director for ADT Spain and Portugal, emphasises that: "Security is one of the strong points that hotel guests most appreciate and look out for. It is a field in which we have many years’ experience. This has been demonstrated by the confidence that HOTUSA GROUP HOTELS has placed in us. Our commitment to all the affiliates in the hotel network is a solid one, and we shall be working to adapt our systems and services to the individual requirements of each hotel."
