Liverpool Hospital - Case StudyAdvanced hospital security The Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Trust in Liverpool have been working in partnership with ADT since 1998. A recent contract reinforcing this relationship started in 2003 to modernise, update and ensure that all security equipment will eventually be controlled from one central monitoring system.
The new system comprises of 170 digital CCTV cameras, access control and intruder alarm systems. Offering the hospitals the ability to monitor exactly who goes where and when within a particular building. External security has also been installed to monitor the staff and visitor car parks.
